Each series offers a different way in. Some evenings lean towards one of them, and many will draw on all three.

VIRSA by HOM

A city, rendered as a world

Each VIRSA edition takes one city and explores it through six senses. The aim is not to recreate the city as a theme. It is to meet the people, memories, creative traditions and contemporary life that make it what it is.

VIRSA begins by exploring the cities of South Asia, with an ambition to travel further through other cultures and the diaspora communities connected to them.

    The smells that people remember long after they leave.

  • Taste

    Food shared at the table, and the stories that come with it.

    Textiles, materials and the objects people live with.
